Serious injury crash causes road closures for several hours

VANCOUVER, Wash. (NWNN) – Officers were on the scene of a serious injury crash for nearly five hours Wednesday evening.

At approximately 7:00 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to a serious injury collision in the area of East Fourth Plain Blvd. and P Street.

Closures and detours lasted for several hours during the investigation and both vehicles were retained for evidence.

Police say the causing driver, victim driver and victim passenger were all transported to an area hospital.

They say the passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and they believe that impairment was a factor in the crash.
